The Blog that dare not speak its name!

John is a musician (singer/songwriter) and office temp who lives in Chicago. He hangs out and games with a small circle of close friends; was until 2006 in a band called MINSTROSITY which played on the Renaissance Faire circuit and other folk-type venues; is currently a member of MERRY MEASURE (whose first CD, "Faire Warning" is available at www.merrymeasure.com), in a somewhat similar vein; plays guitar and octave mandolin in a traditional Irish music Seisiun nearly every Tuesday evening at the Celtic Knot Pub in Evanston, IL. His first solo CD, which is simply entitled "Simply Entitled" can be ordered at www.johncwiseman.com (one track was played on the Dr. Demento Show - twice). He loves classic rock, folk, prog, classical and bluegrass music. He dislikes pretentiousness, closed-mindedness and being in a hurry. He intensely dislikes being broke. He is more than 50 years old and likely to remain that way. He is single, straight, and not nearly as bald nor round-headed as his mouse-drawn self-portrait makes him appear. Onions dislike him. He frequently refers to himself (in mini-biographies) in the third person.

AND: don't make him angry. You wouldn't like him when he's angry.
